Our Framework
On this page you can find the latest version of our Sustainable Finance Framework. This sets out how investment in our business drives positive impact across our region. It also provides us with the means to raise debt finance to achieve our vision of a thriving Yorkshire: right for customers, and right for the environment.
Our Framework was last updated in November 2023 to align with our corporate strategy and recent changes to the Green and Social Bond Principles and the Green and Social Loan Principles.
We aim to follow best market practices where possible and as such have structured our framework to focus on four key sections:
- Use of Proceeds
- Process for Project Evaluation and Selection
- Management of Proceeds
- Reporting
We intend to continue to develop the Framework as the sustainable finance market evolves.
