The Kelda Group has contractual relationships with two major ratings agencies, with which senior management meets regularly (at least once a year) providing them with detailed business plans and forecasts.
All external debt is raised on behalf of, and guaranteed by, Yorkshire Water Services Ltd. Two bonds were issued by Kelda Group Ltd (* below) in 1998 and 2000/01; all others were issued by Yorkshire Water Services Finance plc. Yorkshire Water Services Ltd debt obligations are rated as follows:
